The Walking Dead Season 8 Release Date, Trailer, Cast & Everything

The Walking Dead Season 8– The Walking Dead is an American horror television drama series developed by Frank Darabont. It is based on the Comic Series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.

The series stars Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, a police officer who gets shot in the line of duty and awakens from a coma to find the world dominated by the literal walking dead (Walkers). He sets out to find his family and encounters some other survivors along the way. The title of the series refers to the survivors, and not the actual zombies, though it could equally be taken to mean both the survivors and the zombies.

The Walking season 8 returns later this year after an explosive season 7 finale. Here is everything you need to know about the new series including its release date, cast, and latest news.

{SPOILERS} What will happen in The Walking Dead season 8?

The Walking Dead’s most divisive season in the history of the show ended with Alexandria, Hilltop, and The Kingdom teaming up against Negan’s Saviors.

Showrunner Scott Gimple has teased an “intense” run of new episodes.

He told Talking Dead’s Chris Hardwick: “I say, ‘It’s gonna be bigger, it’s gonna be more intense.’ I always mean that, but this year it’s the same thing. More intense.

“The first four episodes will melt people’s minds and break their televisions.”

The season seven finale saw Alexandria, the Kingdom and the Hilltop declare war on Negan and the Saviours.

Season eight of The Walking Dead, Kirkman confirmed, will follow the All Out War arc from the comics as Rick and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) go head-to-head. In Kirkman’s comics, which the AMC drama is based on, Rick and his band of survivors jump forward in time after the war with Negan as the source material explores their vision of a brighter future.
